TOP 10 FAVORITE (TASTEFULLY) HUNKY BOOK COVERS

No, these guys are not half-naked—sorry to disappoint! Here are some of my favorite book covers featuring classy-looking attractive guys.

1. Dead Iron (Age of Steam #1) by Devon Monk
Isn't this every lady's dream guy? Steampunk blended with western.

That is the lovely Jem Carstairs and he's mine! Back. Off.

3. The Rift Walker (Vampire Empire #2) by Clay and Susan Griffith
Mmm... The Greyfriar is a yummy swashbucklin' hero.

4. Kiss of Night (Kiss Trilogy #1) by Debbie Viguié
You can't see his entire face, but what you can see looks nice, eh?

5. Immortal City by Scott Spear
Another one hiding his eyes, but his strong angular facial features win.

6. The Iron Knight (Iron Fey #4) by Julie Kagawa
Of course, Ashy-poo is going to make this list. Handsome ice prince for the win.

I may never read this book, but I heart the cover! It's gorgeous...

The new cover has a gorgeous young Victor Frankenstein. How you doin'?

It has Atticus O'Sullivan on the cover. No explanation necessary.

It's the eyes... They're really striking, aren't they?

Okay, I hope these perfectly clad gentlemen didn't disappoint. What are your favorite book covers?

  1. I gotta say, I would put Hounded at number #1. That is without a doubt the sexiest pose ever. I've dubbed it the "totally ready to kick some ass" pose :)I prefer the other cover to This Dark Endeavor though. Not sure why.An Existence doesn't need an explanation!

    1. @Lan: I do love the Hounded cover, so just because it's not number one doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. It's so hard to choose even my top 10 favorites.

  2. LOL! I love this idea! I sort of did something similar my self...but on accident. And now I'm going to have to check out Immortal City.

  5. I thought Clockwork Prince might be on your list, but I KNEW The Iron Druid Chronicles would be on there. Great list, Cathy. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Well, you know the Iron Druid is totally my favorite book cover hunk! But I love the Cassandra Clare covers you called out as well.

Once thing I've noticed as I make the transition to e-books is that I lose touch with a lot of the cover art. That's one thing I really miss about print books -- getting to see cool covers all the time.

    1. @Camille: I agree that print books give you that cover art in a way ebooks cannot. I still love print books for that reason--the cover art!

  7. I love that you have Atticus on your list! I had to put Hexed on mine since he's making eye contact. *sighs* If I ever get my hands on that cover model... Great list though!

  11. Hi Cathy - just an FYI that I updated my blog to show the multiple step process that you need to do to really make sure CAPTCHA is gone. You have to go back to the Old Blogger Interface. Thanks for the info!
